Here is an exercise that we will occasionally do in our FITMAX classes (most Saturdays. 9:30 A.M. PW Fitness, 2200 Penfield Rd).
Here’s how to do it: Get on a treadmill. Do not turn the machine on. Instead, push the tread with your leg strength faster and faster until you reach “sprint” speed. Hold that speed for 20 seconds, then, dismount the treadmill and do 10 push-ups. Repeat for sets.
Power-Off Treadmill, is a form of interval training, and believe me, it will have you gasping for air (a good thing!).
