I knew I needed to take better care of my health. Stress of work and family put fitness on the back burner for too long.
I didn't think I had enough time to exercise, but something Tom said stopped me in my tracks. He said that all it takes is 3 hours a week to get fit. Being honest with myself, I knew I could find 3 hours a week. So, I decided to make getting fit a priority.
Tom helped me set up a plan to work out three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We train at his gym one day per week, and I work out on my own, at my gym, two more times a week.
In the 10 weeks I have been training with Tom, I have made incredible progress! I dropped 10 pounds! And my body-fat measurement is now in the "athlete" zone! I have so much more energy I no longer fall asleep on the couch after work.
Working out with Tom is the highlight of my week. I spend my days taking care of my printing business, my three children, and the home repair "project of the week" but my work-out gives me time for just me. It helps me recharge my batteries.
The best part, however, is that Tom has become more than my personal trainer. I now call him my friend. The name of his company is exactly what he has given me: Fitness & Motivation.
I am very grateful to Tom for his guidance and encouragement.

I have been working out with Tom for a few months now. We do a FitMAX style workout once a week, and I run and bike on my own on other days. When I work out with Tom I am focused on strength training, and he makes sure I work all major muscle groups, incorporating a lot of core strength exercises and varying the workout each week.
I really enjoy and benefit from Tom’s enthusiasm for physical fitness. His motivation is contagious! I always look forward to our workouts to see what Tom has in store for me. I have become much stronger, and FitMAX was just the impetus I needed to get me back in shape again. Thank you Tom!
One of my favorite sayings is from one of the smartest men to ever live and get this - he lived over 3000 years ago! His name was King Solomon. This is what he said. Eccles. 4:9 (NLT):
"Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor."
It was with that thought in mind that I set out to find someone to help me in my quest to get fit and back in shape. One of the things that impressed me with Tom was his desire to reach MY goals not his. It was not long until I decided to hire Tom Fortunato of Fitness Motivation. I am very pleased to say that Tom has indeed been a great trainer for me and help me to reach my goals. I have lost 38 lbs and reduced my body fat from 26% down to 14% and still heading for the single digits and did it all without getting injured in the process.
Through all of this Tom has not only proved to be a great trainer he has become a good friend.
Tom, thank you for helping me accomplish what I have; indeed two are stronger than one.

I have worked with Tom for a little over a year now. He has both inspired and motivated me into becoming a regular member of the gym.
I have more energy and a better overall attitude toward life as a result. I have seen considerable physical changes too. I am stronger, better toned, and have lost fat and gained muscle.
I thank Tom every week for motivating me into building the body I want to live in for the rest of my life.

We decided to make a life change and to get into better shape. And, we knew we wanted to work with a trainer because even though we were motivated and dedicated to our fitness goals, we needed the "how and why" of weight training to get the most out of our workouts while preventing injury.
Working with Tom Fortunato gave us just that.
Currently, Tom is pushing us to a new level of fitness with FitMAX which we look forward to every Saturday morning. As challenging as it sometimes is, we "enjoy" this high intensity workout.
Thank you, Tom, for the education and your continued support.

I have been working with Tom as my personal trainer for eight months. Before meeting him, my exercise routine consisted solely of jogging. In fact, I had not been to a gym in over 20 years. Although I achieved some success in losing weight, I was losing muscle mass and becoming increasingly vulnerable to injuries, spending less time training and more time at the physical therapist. At the advice of a colleague (a fellow physician), I began working with Tom on a strength-training program two to three times weekly. After the first month, the results were nothing short of dramatic. First, the injuries disappeared, and although I now run fewer miles, my fitness level has improved. There have also been benefits I hadn't anticipated; my energy level has increased and my overall attitude is much more positive.
On a personal level, Tom has been extremely easy to work with. His schedule is very flexible and arranging workouts is never a problem. He is a great motivator, and helps me get the most out of my exercise. If you work with Tom, I'm sure you will agree it is one the best investments in one's health that you can make.
